Yin yoga and ear acupuncture make for a beautiful combination. Yin’s long holds bring release, while a needle carefully placed encourages healing.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, ligaments, joints, and bones. The more we work our deep tissues, the less tight our bodies become as we age. Yin is slower and more meditative, poses could be held for three to five minutes, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and your body. Yin teaches you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts. You can expect slow, deep stretches and meditation in a Yin Yoga class that balances and strengthens the body, mind, and spirit.

Key Yin Yoga benefits:
-Targets connective tissues
-Reduces stress
-Increases circulation
-Slows us down
-Relieves tension
-Improves flexibility
-Encourages mindfulness and meditation
Ear Acupuncture– by Emily Solway-Ferguson
Acupuncture is known to help calm the nervous system and put our bodies and minds into a rest and digest state. The body has this amazing innate ability to heal itself, we just need to give it the time and support that it needs to do so.

For ear acupuncture, tiny needles will be inserted into specific points on the ears to bring balance to the mind and body. The ear is a microsystem in itself. Similar to reflexology, where there is a map of the whole body on the foot. The ear is so easily accessible that almost any issue can be addressed just with a few needles!

Benefits of acupuncture include (but are definitely not limited to):
-Reduced pain everywhere in the body
-Improved mood and mental state
-Helps relieve and resolve symptoms of stress, depression, PTSD, grief
-Can improve digestion & also help with weight loss
-Improves sleep and awake cycles
